In a recent report by Andreessen Horowitz, two South Korean AI services have made their mark on the global stage, ranking among the top 50 most-used generative AI tools. SK Telecom’s Adot, an AI personal assistant, secured the 39th spot, while Naver’s Papago and SNOW apps ranked 43rd and 48th, respectively. This recognition highlights the growing influence of South Korean technology in the AI landscape.

The rankings are based on unique monthly visits for web products and monthly active users for mobile apps, showcasing the competitive nature of AI tools worldwide. Notably, OpenAI’s ChatGPT continues to dominate the market, with a staggering 900 million weekly active users, outpacing its closest competitor, Google’s Gemini. As AI adoption spreads globally, South Korea stands out as a leader in the field, trailing only behind Singapore and the UAE.
