In a recent survey conducted by The Yomiuri Shimbun and Teikoku Databank Ltd., it was revealed that over 30% of Japanese companies are now integrating generative artificial intelligence into their business operations. This significant adoption highlights a growing trend where firms are leveraging AI for tasks such as document writing, information gathering, and even brainstorming ideas.

Despite the enthusiasm surrounding generative AI, the survey also uncovered some concerns. A notable 50.4% of respondents expressed worries about the accuracy of the information generated by AI systems. Additionally, many companies reported a lack of specialized personnel to effectively implement and manage these technologies. The gap in capabilities between employees who can utilize AI effectively and those who cannot is also a growing concern, with 18.8% of users acknowledging this issue.
