Find The Previous Evidence
In your shortlist, open the filters and select Tested 30+ days ago. This view uses your own recorded test dates and your browser’s local calendar date. It is a convenience for finding older evaluations, not a deadline or a claim that a tool has become unreliable.
No date means no valid local test date is recorded. It does not prove that you have never used the service. Candidates with no date are not included in the older-test view. Dates are private browser state, not Aiplorer review dates or official vendor verification.
Ask What Has Changed
Read your earlier note before starting again. Identify the task, input, observed result and unresolved question. Then ask whether the product, your workflow or the stakes have changed.
- A relevant official release note may justify repeating the affected check.
- New input types or a different audience may make the previous sample inadequate.
- A permissions, plan or policy change may need review without rerunning an output test.
- Time passing alone does not tell you whether any of those things happened.
Check the vendor’s current official documentation for the decision at hand. Aiplorer’s selected announcements are not a complete change history. Do not assume an update applies to your account or that silence proves nothing changed.
Choose A Bounded Next Step
For a fictional example, imagine an earlier trial summarized invented support requests correctly but confused a proposed date with a commitment. A useful follow-up question is: “Does the revised instruction preserve uncertain dates on the same samples?” It is not: “Is this tool good now?”
Keep the previous result, use the same non-sensitive inputs, and record what you observed this time. If the original task is no longer relevant, leave that conclusion in your note rather than rerunning it for a fresh date. For high-stakes or sensitive work, a small sample is not sufficient approval.
Keep The Date Honest
Change Last local test date only after performing a test you can describe. Reading a release note, opening the shortlist, exporting a brief or clearing checks is not a new test. Do not change the date just to remove a candidate from the older-test view.
You can combine this view with a decision stage and export Current view only to prepare a focused review. The exported file is a snapshot: the same date filter may include more candidates on a later visit. No reminders or automatic tests are scheduled.
If you decide to repeat a check, use the safe restart guide and the before-and-after exercise to preserve context rather than replacing old evidence without a record.
