Legacy CLI Transition (Checked October 15, 2026)

The official legacy CLI notice says active development stopped as of 6.6, with critical updates through December 31, 2026 and deprecation afterward. This affects the legacy CLI, not the entire Tabnine service. Installing the OpenCode-based CLI reassigns tabnine to the new CLI and renames the old command tabnine-legacy.

Check scripts and permissions with your administrator before migrating. Consult the current release notes; the historical 6.6.0 release is marked unstable and is not an upgrade recommendation. This targeted notice does not replace the full review date above.
